The SAAA Exco is proud to announce that Prof Elmarie Papageorgiou (University of Witwatersrand) accepted the appointment as the new SAAA President.  Elmarie was previously the SAAA Vice President and was unanimously selected as the new President by the Exco members when Rob Scott indicated his decision to step down as President due to changes in his circumstances and time constraints.  Prof Ilse Lubbe (University of Cape Town) was selected as the new SAAA Vice President.  The rest of the Exco remains unchanged.
